My litigation practice is devoted to the prosecution of serious injury and wrongful death cases as a result of the negligence or general wrongdoing of others. I have litigated and tried numerous cases on both the defense and plaintiff side.  Prior to doing plaintiff’s work, I was outside defense counsel for Federal Express Corporation and DC Water (formerly known as District of Columbia Water & Sewer Authority) defending property damage and personal injury claims. My prior experience as defense counsel has given me the ability to understand the tactics of insurance companies and big business. I can discern what needs to be done to ensure that your claim will not be low-balled or denied.  I also understand that often times, litigation is inherently unavoidable. No matter how small your case, I will take the time to explain the steps of your claim as well as the lawsuit process from beginning to end. You will know what to expect from me-- and what I expect from you-- from the onset of the attorney-client relationship.  More importantly, I will be real with you from the very beginning. Fees associated with personal injury cases are based on contingency. If there is no recovery, I will collect no fee.
